This poor puppy deserved a lead role far sooner than he got one. With Go Kyung-pyo starring in Strongest Deliveryman, I think it's about time I confess how much I love him. I love him a lot. So in celebration, here are some of Go Kyung-pyo's best supporting roles.

Flower Boy Next Door
Go Dok-mi hides from the world in her tiny apartment, but a bubbly programmer Enrique is about to bring her outside, much to the distaste of her long-time admirer and next-door neighbour Jin-rak.
Go Kyung-pyo wasn't very prominent in Flower Boy Next Door, even though he was one of the titular flower boys, but what little screen-time he had was made cuter by his quirky romantic sub-plot with Kim Seul-gi (back when they were both underrated).
Potato Star 2013QR3
A meteor falls into Earth's orbit as a second moon. That night, weird things start to happen, specifically to a family and their neighbours.
I wouldn't recommend this show, thanks to the recycled conflicts and lack of story,but the leading trio were definitely the highlightr and this was probably the first love triangle where I geninuely couldn't decide who to choose. You'll love Go Kyung-pyo, either as the snooty but secretly good-hearted CEO, or as the adorable man child he is later.

Five childhood friends grow up together on one street, their family close enough to be one big family, and navigate through unavoidable trials like first love.
The best part of Reply 1988 was that every character in the huge cast got a story. Go Kyung-pyo got a noona romance with his friend's older sister, and it was cute watching him try to melt her cold exterior watching being agressive enough to scare her away! Although he was far too old to be playing a high schooler, he touched my heart as a boy who'd do anything to please his family and the girl he loves.

In comparison, his character was fairly one-note, but he shone best with his friend, when he didn't have to be polite and perfect. I don't think he was believably cast as a potential suitor for Pyo Na-ri, but regardless I enjoyed his performance.

Despite the three main characters each being superbly cast, Go Kyung-pyo stood out to me as the only character I consistently liked from day one. Frankly, he is what I miss the most about Chicago Typewriter. I think the picture does justice to why - although he seemed a little suspicious at first, he melted my heart as the hopeless romantic who loves just two things, which became his downfall.
